You are perfectly right in my book... The feeling emotional (unconscious) memory is very powerful too... Those who think otherwise that auditory memory is very poor and short lived confuse exact sound memory conscious retrieval with feeling/body...

Marvellous experience then... I cannot forgot the Allegri Miserere  piece nor the Spem in Alium of Thomas Tallis first listening... I was and are always stunned.. 😊 @mahgister I have seen them perform it twice. Both times in old churches nece...

I love the Hogwood Mozart Requiem, but it’s a curio because he refuses to use any notes that might have the taint of Sussmayr, so it sounds very truncated. I think that is being a bit extreme, since Sussmayr was an accomplished 18th century compo...

No you are right rodman99999   It is a state priority it must be... We are not in a cow boy movie,  it cannot be let to the discretion of each one citizen, the grid infrastructure  is one of the most important  public necessities...Not wars....

This Ristenpart version was my best one because of the perfect tempo all along... On vinyl... I loose it when i go digital thirty years ago... 😁 No version beat his tempi and dynamic... My best is now Hogwood recording which instruments record...
