If your whole system costs $40,000.... I will never own a disc player again. I think they have lost their relevance. The DAC was always the most important part of the player anyway, and now a stand alone DAC is much more important than the machine that spins it. Download the info to a ...
Top 5 Rock n Roll Vocalists OK since this sting has come to life again, I am going to "refresh" my list, in no order:Freddy MercurySteve PerryPaul RogersRoger DaltryAnn Wilson
Magnepan 1.7 too bright, HELP David, I wholeheartedly agree about upstream, but I would never suggest wasting money on super expensive cables, especially power cables.Once you gotten past the stock cable, with say a Signal Cable power cable, I think the changes are between the...
Top 5 Hamburgers OK, kind of off the map for you guys, but I have moved to OKC from Houston for work, and it's been a pretty easy transition, even though the city is much smaller. But, as far as burgers, I would put Irma's up against any I have had, including Fathe...

Maggie as a second set I would buy the IIIa before the 3.5, I think it's a better speaker.
Need tonearm advice for Clearaudio Innovation Wood Buy the Transfi Terminator, it a stunning good, and reasonably priced, linear tracking arm made by a genius/madman in the UK.I heard one with an SP-10 mkII and was shocked how good it sounded.I've been eying one for a long time, but I think I woul...

Magnepan 3.7's versus 20.1's? "What I am trying to figure out is if the 3.7s are truly so good as to be very close to the 20.1s or whether that's maybe a little bit of overstatement generated by the excitment over a very good new speaker ... "it's good, but you hit the nail on...
All Amps Sound the Same.... OK Bill, that was classic, you know I liked that answer.
Magnepan 3.7's versus 20.1's? That made no sense. Are you saying you think the 3.7 is better, or you can't afford the 20.1 so you bought the 3.7? There is no comparison. The 20.1 is a much, much better speaker. A used 20.1 in perfect shape, is a much better deal than a new 3.7.
Magnepan 3.7's versus 20.1's? yes, the 20.1 is deeper, more coherent, and throws off a much larger soundstage.that said, the 3.7 is stellar, but the 20.1 is one of the finest speakers ever produced by any measure.I've read a few threads where people said they would buy the 3.7...
Clearaudio Performance SE Warm, detailed, extended highs, great bearing. I had one and thought it was a great table. It was definitely in the same leauge with my VPI Classic, and beat the pants off of the Scoutmaster and Aries I that I had, among others.GReat table. Should... |
