Placement of subwoofers
Can you describe what you may sense is lacking with your current sub bass speaker positioning?
World's Best Stereo System ?...
So far everybody here has the best stereo system. Except for two people, and one of those is dead.
Speakers with deep/powerful bass
grundy1700, I remember glancing over this article some time ago. It seems that's all I remembered.   https://www.tnt-audio.com/intervis/jpse.html Just like that AC-DC song the media plays a huge part.

["grundy1700      This would only happen if my JPS Labs Golden Flutes were looped into the system, and it was playing very loud. Without the Golden Flutes it didn't happen. It was a truly frightening experience the first time it happened, because...
Marten Parker Quintet and the Marten Parker Trio Diamond version...if you could choose ?
I don't trust my listening ability until I get something at home.  I think it was 2018. Carolyn and George Counnas were demonstrating their Zesto Phono, Line and Amplifiers sourced by a Merrill and Williams R.E.A.L. 101.3 / Triplanar turntable wi...

Thanks for sharing. Interesting first hand comparison by the attendees of both examples.

["audioguy85    There is little to no substitute for a speaker that does bass properly to begin with. You don't need a sub."] 'Properly,' must be the reason why I often see manufacturers of statement speakers demonstrate them with subwoofers.  ...

There's little, if any, substitution for not locating the subwoofer/s in or very near the rooms greatest bass modes. Playing a low frequency test tone through a subwoofer placed at the listening position while walking the room noting areas with t...
Suggestion for $10K soup to nuts digital?
I've done a number of brick and mortar auditions of mid and higher priced combinations. I haven't been encouragingly impressed by the incremental value. I'm hearing differences, just not as much as I was expecting from what I've been reading in ge...
Did you ever buy too much bass?
Are you running your source full range through the anthem room correction?
New Rel Carbon Special Sub “Roars” when there is no signal!
You might try disconnecting both speaker level connections and using the right and left Subwoofer RCA outputs with shielded interconnects from your integrated amplifier to the suspect Sub Bass speaker. They don't have to be fancy cable. https://w...
Which subwoofer pairs perfectly with Tannoy Stirling GR speakers?
In my experience proper location, equalization and / or optimization provides a far more indistinguishable integration with the room and any speaker. If this is your first subwoofer beware of manufacturer marketing pairing list as well as custome...
