The RME ADI 2-DAC 32Bit/768kHz Tried the slow response but I preferred the sharper sound. I have a all tube Luxman preamp and Aerial 5 T's so I lost some of that edge on the horns and guitars that I like. Have not tried headphones w/this unit. May borrow some from my dealer. Wh...
PrimaLuna amp good match for Thiel CS 2.3? I had 2.3's and used a pair of modified Threshold T-50's. They put out 100 wpc in pure Class A. 2.3's love high current amps. The late Jim Thiel was not a tube guy. He really liked pairing his speakers w/Bryston amps.
The RME ADI 2-DAC 32Bit/768kHz The Belcanto 3.7 DAC seems to use a Steady clock similar to the RME FS clock. Wonder if they are the same.
Accuphase E470 v. Luxman L509x One Luxman integrated that has been overlooked is the all tube LX-380. Luxman makes some great tube gear. It would be an excellent match for the DeVore 0/96's.
The RME ADI 2-DAC 32Bit/768kHz I'm trying to digest the Info. I've had it for 4 days. Paid $1099 which seems to be the price on line. I'll check out p.55 Thanks for the info.
The RME ADI 2-DAC 32Bit/768kHz My dealer had 3 and he sold out in one week. He has ordered more. He laughed and said, "well there goes the sale of the Chords". My current setup is a Bluesound Node, Bryston 2.5 sst2 amp, Aerial 5T's and a Luxman CL38U-SE. Ihave a small Paradigm ...

DACs with a budget of $800 A little over your budget at $1099. The RME ADI 2-DAC. Made in Germany. The company has been around for 20 years building various components for professional studios. It's also a high end Headphone & IEM unit. Features include a 5 band paramet...
Luxman Integrated? Luxman also makes an excellent all tube Integrated amp. The LX-380. Has the same retro Marantz 7 look. The built in phono is also all tube and very good. I purchased the CL38U-SE all tube preamp about 7 months ago. Best tube preamp I've ever owned.
Dynavector DV20X2H or DV20X2L I found the better the phono the more I got out of the Dynavector 20XL2. I started out w/a P75MKIII which gave me a very nice sound. I then moved to a Shaker Logic phono which has a Cinemag Blue SUT. Quieter background and a wider soundstage. Curr...
Simaudio P5 or Conrad Johnson ET5 I had a CJ ET-3SE which was nice but always seemed restrained. I ended up w/a Luxman CL38U-SE which totally blew away the CJ. It has balance and tone controls plus a mono switch. The phono really surprised me. It has 4 SUT's 2 for MC high and 2 fo...
Affordable Processor with Fabulous 2 Channel ? I still use a Krell Showcase processor. Has a 7.1 analog input for surround and a balanced input for CD's. Built like a tank. Never had a problem. They usually sell in the $600 range. Original price $4000.
LOUNDSPEAKER FOR $10,000.00 PER PAIR Paradigm Persona 3F, Aerial 7T, Magico A3 are in that price range. All are a little different. Just depends on what you subjectively enjoy. Go out and demo as many speakers as you can. Opinions on speakers are like noses everyone has one.
Phono stage can minimize tics and pops on vinyl A couple of things to add about the E-250 is it also has a vg sut. And a cart demagnetizer. I have a Luxman CL-38U-SE and the tube phono is the best phono I ever owned. Very quiet as it has 4 step up transformers 2 for MC High and 2 for MC Low. Th...
Magico A3 vs. Focal Kanta 2 In this price range I would also consider the Aerial 7T. |
