COunt Basie Jams 1-3 on Pablo....
I like Bassie Jam better than 2 and 3 but these are worthy of owning also. Analogue Production's pressing is outstanding but for the money (vinyl) the Pablo's are an absolute steal. I can't speak about any CD's of this material.
Advice with changing a tonearm???
Dave,In my experience everything Linn makes is dual voltage. I know that my LP12 is as well as both amps and preamp that I own. I suggest you go to the Linn website at www.linn.co.uk and find the link to Linn USA and send their tech line an email....
Review: Ridge Street Audio Designs Sason Ltd. Loudspeaker Monitor
Robert,Thanks for a serious response to my smart ass post. It was meant as a joke since I consider this to be an audio wasteland. Man, oh man would I love to have you come to one of our audio society meetings and Steve's place would be my choice! ...

Who's my dealer in Nampa, Idaho?
How Much Abuse can a Cartridge take?
If it sounds okay it survived the ordeal. Heck, I've accidentally left my stylus at the end of a record overnight. This is usually no big deal.
Teres Turntable Support - concrete, wood, rack...?
I'm the builder of Vetterone's rack. He and I worked closely on the design features. It does exactly what it should do. I photographed the construction of it and would be happy to forward those to you. Email me through Audiogon if you want these p...
Loricraft vs. VPI 16.5 record cleaner
The Loricraft and Keith Monks are clearly superior designs. That doesn't mean that you can't get great results with lesser machines, especially the fully manual models. Assuming the price of admission was within my reach I would opt for the Loricr...
Advice on semi-auto turntables?
Keep your eye out for an Audio Technica Safety Raiser AT-6006. They work perfectly with any pivot arm. I've found two in the last few years and wish that they were back in production. This device lifts your tonearm at the end of play. There are ot...

Best speakers for Linn Classik ???
I wouldn't go with the Ninkas as they require more power than the classic will put out. Sure, it would work but there are more satisfiying speakers to be had. Now, if your goal is to add another amp and go Aktiv then your intitial choice would be ...
What do you do when nothing seems to get LP clean?
I'm not a scientist but I didn't sleep through all my studies at university. Animal fats are used in making steel to provide certain characteristics for workability, strength, etc. What it is not is steel with fat added. It becomes a very complex ...
What do you do when nothing seems to get LP clean?
I've mentioned before that certain concerns may be valid. I just don't know the answers and I doubt the manufacturers could answer them to anyone's complete satisfaction without disclosing the recipe. Also, anonymous attacks are childish. Buggtuss...
What do you do when nothing seems to get LP clean?
Geez, how is an enzyme supposed to live if it is washed off and vacuumed away AND the environment to support such life is removed?
database program for music collection, finally
A programmer friend could build exactly what we want for not much money at all but I wouldn't be interested if it couldn't access the CDDB database. He and I have talked about every feature I could dream up and he indicated it's not much work for ...
database program for music collection, finally
Does the program have the ability to add the CDDB information for vinyl?
