You own a store, you sell 2 brands, which? In a perfect world, Rogue Audio and Sonus faber. In our world dominated by marketing dollars, MP3 and Boom Boom Bass, it would be Sony and JBL.
Biggest "bang for the buck" audio gear you have owned(in your history)? Absolutely, and without a doubt, two pieces come to mind for me. - Rogue Cronus Magnum II Integrated Amp- Audioquest Niagara 1000Couldn't live without them.
Full range speaker for rogue 90 or 100 wpc amp. Listen, all I can say is I've owned and paired both. I have a Rogue Cronus Magnum II, and before I upgraded to Sonus faber Sonettos, I paired the Rogue with Sonus faber Venere 2.5. The sound is incredible, and that's not only my opinion, but audio...
Full circle and thinking about speakers Speakers are such an extremely personal choice. However, I own a Rogue Cronus II,and have had JM Labs (Focal), B&W 705 S2, Sonus Faber Venere 2.5’s, and now Sonus Faber Sonetto V’s. All I can tell you is the Rogue matches extremely well with ...
Tube virgin looking for tube amp under $3k If possible it’s always best to audition for yourself. Short of that, I can speak from experience about the Rogue Cronus Magnum. I own version II after owning Luxman, Yamaha and Rogue Hybrids. First Why wouldn’t you want to own an amp with US back...
Speaker suggestions under 4k If you have $4 - $5 grand to spend, with your electronics and desire for classical music and midrange, you really need to consider Sonus faber Sonetto V’s at $4,999.00. Quintessence Audio in Chicago is a great dealer with good demo capabilities an...

Thoughts on my speaker selection? Based on your present Klipsch speakers, and your budget, I would recommend searching for a used pair of Sonus faber Venere 2.5 or 3.0 speakers. I owned the 2.5's and upgraded to the Sonetto V's. Great speakers.
Speakers which always sound good Yet another vote for Sonus faber. Easy to place. Wide choice of models and prices. Always work well with a wide variety of amps, SS or Tube. I've owned a few, and currently own Sonetto V's. Look as good as they sound.
Where do you buy your CDs these days? Not sure where you are, but I live in Tampa. There's an outlet here called Sound Exchange that has thousands of new and used CD's. They never used to ship, but now with the pandemic, they were shipping. Not sure if they will continue, but you can ...
~$15K floorstanders: opinions sought If you have $15k to spend, you MUST audition the New Sonus Faber Olympic Nova III speakers. I auditioned them but not in my price range. I've owned the Venere 2.5's and now own the Sonetto V speakers. The new Olympica's are outstanding!
High value, giant killer speakers? Absolutely without a doubt the new Sonus faber Sonetto 5's. I've owned Focals, B&W 702's and 705's (originals) and Sonus faber Venere 2.5's. For $4,999.00, these speakers far outperform their cost, and compare very favorably to others at twic...
Speaker recommendation thread (Organised by tiers of price) While it's absolutely correct that we all hear differently, perhaps the best reason for this post is to make people aware of speaker brands that they were not familiar with previously. After all, how can you consider a speaker purchase if you're n...
