Moving into an apartment with wood joist floors - worried about neighbors hearing
Bring cookies to the downstairs neighbors and introduce yourself. Exchange contact info but don’t say anything about the speakers - then see how it goes. If you don’t hear anything from them then no worries. They may hear some things but it may no...
Integrated amp w/decent headphone out under $5k
Why do you want an Integrated Amp? Do you have speakers? What are they?
ISO - grit, texture, decay, life from snares and bass drums
Hi all, happy thanksgiving. By way of an update, I moved my Loki EQ to my main system, did an initial tuning with Pink Noise, and then tweaked back with listening. For those unfamiliar it’s a pretty simple EQ with only 4 knobs and here’s where I ...
ISO - grit, texture, decay, life from snares and bass drums
Thanks for all the thoughtful responses. Horns sound great to me for a bit, but they get tiresome - fatiguing.  Additionally i don't love their directionality. I'll look into ATC - any particular models as a good value. Also considering Omega A...

@audionoobie appreciate this guidance. I have a Loki on my kitchen system and have been thinking to try it out on the mains. Thanks for the encouragement.    @soix morrow ICs, Belden 10AWG speaker wire. Primary Source is CDs and streaming through...
Thinking of changing Bedroom bookshelf speakers
Oh rad. Yeah the R7 could be a big upgrade for your phones - worth an audition for sure. And then you can move the mini + topping to your A5+! that would be dope. I love those A5+s. I’ve bought them for several friends as gifts so I can hear good...
Thinking of changing Bedroom bookshelf speakers
Wow the above seems like an AI response!? your A5s are awesome. I’d recommend upgrading your source from the B1 to a Wiim Pro or a Bluesound Node.  Using Spotify Connect over wifi will give you a SIGNIFICANT improvement in clarity and resolution ...
Integrated Amp ideas for a very young audiophile
I’d recommend something with "shortcut" buttons - so you can set up some favorite playlists or internet radio stations that he can easily turn on with the push of a button. My 5-year-old son really likes our AudioPro C3 speaker - very easy to use...
Looking for advice for a good 3.5mm to RCA
Try their evergreen line. Sounds crazy but you may like that lean/clean sounds for much less   otherwise try Morrow Audio

What record cleaner is the most bang for the buck??
Vinyl Vac is the best ($30) wet clean with a solution of your choice ( I use Audio Intelligent One-Step) and vacuum to dry. buy a lazy Susan too to make it even easier
Should I Keep my Second CD Player?
i Dunno, seems like you could get some nice change for the supernova. For a backup player just grab a $300 Marantz
What to do with my legacy CD collection?
What genres? I'll take em if you want! I love CDs
Apple Music vs Tidal for SQ
Interesting takes. I have found Tidal to sound very muddy/flat with levels all over the place, requiring constant adjustments to the volume - not a good listening experience. Especially in regards to streaming an infinite playlist for background m...
