Trans-Fi Terminator Tonearm: 2019 Update
@qwin  On the  newer version of the Terminator that I have, all pins are made of nylon, including the pins for leveling the arm. It would be too difficult for me to take up your tip on leveling the arm using the turntable footers for final adjust...
Trans-Fi Terminator Tonearm: 2019 Update
It is really nice to see all the effort put into pressing  the Terminator back into service again, pairing with such a lovely bespoke turntable.  The several tweaks that you have arrived at are really worth  looking into. The mounting plate I am m...
Trans-Fi Terminator Tonearm: 2019 Update
In my case, 60L tank vol was the limit of the original pump. From there on It was a case of searching for the right pump. I am using a Hiblow 40 currently. The nice thing about the Terminator is it works in low pressure, so less stress on connecti...
Trans-Fi Terminator Tonearm: 2019 Update
@qwin Thanks a million for the drawing!  As you indicted, the mounting slots are for your TT. I will use  the existing mounting slots for my arm.  There have been a few occasions when I accidentally bumped into the far end of the cantilevered sli...
Trans-Fi Terminator Tonearm: 2019 Update
@qwin HA! HA! It was quite presumptuous of me to think that you would. My apologies! What would be helpful is if you would share the CAD file or a PDF file of the mounting plate. If not, your photos are quite clear, I’ll be able to figure it out. ...

Channel D Lino C vs. Sutherland Little Loco
@lewn There is a self charging mechanism in the Lino C 2.2. The unit kicks into charging mode after ten minutes of not receiving an audio signal. A fully charged battery takes several hours and should be good for 20 hours of listening, so really n...

Anyone Try a Mutech Hayabusa MC Cartridge with a Channel D Lino C Phono Stage
@eaneverson I have a Lino C 2.2, but not the Hayabusa. My present MC cartridge is Audio Tekne MC 6310, 2 ohms and 0.1 mv output. The gain is set @ +12db, the highest setting, due to the low output. For other MC’s with 2 - 6 ohms and output @ 0.3-0...

Audio Technica AT ML-180 Cartridge Advice
This is an old post, but I thought I’d post my MM experience here. In the past three months I bought two MM cartridges, after reading among things the very long MM post here  on Audiogon. I first received an Nagaoka MP-500. It was a revelation. It...
what is your configuration for the LFT-8c/LFT-VIIIc?
There is a 0.6ms delay between woofer and midrange that should be factory set. My speakers wasn’t set, so be sure to do so.    There is a few threads on Audiokarma that is on the 8C’s with quite a lot of good  information.
