Grateful Dead Dave's Pick's Volume 48 ......time to put a fork in this !
@stuartk - ah yes, Donna; she could be very good, like on 'Sunrise', but I've always got my finger on the volume button when a version of 'Playing In The Band' starts up that she's on; before she joined, I never thought, 'what that song needs is s...
High quality recordings any genre
Try audiophile websites like Elusive Disc or Acoustic Sounds; there are a number of these and they specialize in great sounding, well-mastered recordings.

Some people, after their purchases, might decide that they'd really rather have the money for something else, but it can't be returned. Hence, they'd sell without having really used the item to any extent.
Dusty Street has passed away
I remember Dusty from when she was on KSAN in San Francisco.... RIP.
Grateful Dead Dave's Pick's Volume 48 ......time to put a fork in this !
@mahler123 - The reason why people who like the Grateful Dead have multiple versions of so much is that like jazz, there is a great deal of improvisation; some of it is entirely improvisation. Some are very similar, though ever identical, from nig...
Bose 901 Series V Questions
Actually, somebody in my college dorm had a pair of 901's that he'd placed facing backwards, firing the front against a wall. This was around 1972, so I can't remember much about them besides that!

Grateful Dead Dave's Pick's Volume 48 ......time to put a fork in this !
They've released a number of complete shows from May '77 on CD and LP boxes, but no full boxes of that Florida one from DP3; I'd like to hear that, too.
Was 1971 the high point of popular music?
As long as somebody thinks 'their' year is the best, then it is. For them. I'm 72 and have been tired of much 60's and 70's music for decades now. I try to keep up with what is going on currently, to greater or lesser success. My favorite genre t...
Why isn't better quality used gear being made available?

Jazz LP Audiophile Recommendations
If you can find a Vinyl Me Please box of 'Miles Davis - the Electric Years', those sound superb; many prefer them to the MoFi versions...
Does it bother you when you see inflated MSRP’s for used gear on AG?
I have not knowingly experienced this when looking for items I was interested in....
Nowhere to hear speakers and amps anymore!
@aldermine - the unfortunate thing about Audio Vision is you don't get all day to audition as much as you want for your $250. I got to audition 3 speakers (plus the ones I brought in as reference) for an hour or so in total. Fortunately, I found s...
Have we lost civility and respect on Audio forums?
Seems to me it's been that way for a few decades all over the internet. All about anonymity.
