| No Insurance with FEDEX as of 11/01 As long as it's not DHL, it's OK with me - I use both FedEx and UPS and have had no problems with either. I didn't think that 'no insurance' thing sounded right - I'm glad the OP cleared that up. | |
| Vinylistas and Tubers - One and the same? I like a tube preamp and a SS power amp (tube all the way with headphones), and I listen to vinyl, CD's, DVD's, and TV through the system. As long as it sounds good to me, I don't care about being some kind of purist as to source material. | |

| Rock musicians with musical education. I've heard too many virtuoso musicians who couldn't come up with a memorable tune to save their lives. I would always rather hear a good song than somebody showing off how 'great' they are on their instrument. | |

| Ridiculous assertions that someone is being ripped off or conned I pretty much agree with Tommy. I do not like somebody else telling me whether or not I actually like something, and if I like something they don't, or vice-versa, they'll say I'm being 'scammed'. | Would your familiarity with the music played effect your test performance? Totally agree, though there is also a lot of newer music that I'm just as familiar with. But yeah, familiarity with the music will give you clues as to what to listen for.... |
