| THIEL CS 2.4 PURCHASE I guess I'm swimming against the current here. I run mine with a 80 watts a Cary SLI-80 using the 4 ohm taps. The room is 22X12X8 and they sound just fine. I have a ss amp 350 per channel but do not feel the need to use it.Larry | |

| Is the Eico HF 81 really that good? i have a HF-81 and yes it sounds great. I have three other tube amps from Cary, Wright Sound Lab and Conrad Johnson and the little EICO gives up nothing. A bargain if you can find one. At 14 watts a side you need efficient speakers.Larry | |
