Qutest LPS upgrade
I am not suggesting anything; I just wonder from which package you receive your experience. Just FYI, acording to a reliable source, the BOTW P&P ECO provides a ripple voltage of less than 0.5 mV (= 500 µV) under full load conditions for 5-6 ...

congratulate!  Do you have ultra added on or just eco?
Ypsilon DAC-100?
If you have that kind of money, why not consider the Mola Mola Tambaqui? It's well-reviewed and highly regarded by prestigious reviewers and audiophiles.
KEF R3 META or Dynaudio Special 40?

KEF R3 META or Dynaudio Special 40?
You probably need sub in to have more satisfactory fuller range sound experience with KEF (58hz -3dB). At $1400, Special 40 (41hz -3dB) is a no brainer, more dynamic and punchier than KEF. Let me know where is the deal in case if you don’t want it...

@devinplombier Yes, simply de-solder the original passive crossover connection and solder new cables from amplifiers directly to each driver of both channels once the active speaker system is built. Spatial Sapphire older / discontinued models are...

Good, we are on the same page, @devinplombier. I thought you were referring to active and passive for the latter and former. Of course, soldering is involved, but my point is that building the whole system is a much more fun and fulfilling project...
What's the weakest link in my stereo set up? I live in a townhome, so limited on space.
SVS 3000 Micro – a great choice, fast and punchy. You might consider adding an isolation platform to mitigate noise, as you were initially concerned. Enjoy.

@devinplombier It is a system setup using a DSP processor like this: the digital signal from the source is processed (RC/EQ) in the DSP, converted into multiway (frequency band-specific) analog signals, then fed into amplifiers, amplified and conn...

How about taking on a more challenging task? Swap the passive crossover with an active crossover or build a switch to compare the sound. Wouldn't this be a more interesting, exciting and achievement fulfilling project than soldering?

then this might be your best friend.  Endorsed by Streophile.  I had a pair for my 3rd system. https://www.ebay.com/itm/135529601252?_skw=nht+sb3&itmmeta=01JMSWYN7DWW2MBVDDZTRNTXXH&hash=item1f8e3198e4:g:rjIAAOSwLiJnnu4W&itmprp=enc%3AA...

The lower-end notes are lacking—consider adding a subwoofer. Specifically, a sub with an 8 inch driver and tight control, like the REL T/5x or T/7x, which will be fast enough to keep up with the main speakers
Perhaps the most annoying myth in audio of 2025? Talking about Loudness!
I tend to agree with @carlsbad2. If your system does not sound good at a reasonably low volume level, it needs work. Fortunately, the work doesn’t need to be substantial, and you don’t need high-sensitivity speakers to achieve that. In my rooms, ...
Should I use Impedance 4 or 8?
As you know, that lower-imp. tap is reserved for A+B, speakers connected in parallel or the speaker with lower nominal impedance. A good, issue-free amplifier should not deliver drastically different performance between two taps. When connected to...
Balanced vs RCA preamps
You have to be careful about things you read like the specs above! I own the two of the Topping DACs; The 40 Ohm value is actually the two 20 Ohm output impedances put in series when really they should be in parallel, which would be about 10 Ohms...
