“I really like the 2 box approach with seperate power supply”If you have the coin, there isn’t anything else currently available that can rival the performance, features and built quality of aurender N30SA. https://mcusercontent.com/0f6eee7f1bf26e...
Vinyl guy seeking recommendation for a top level cd player
Bill, Among your choices, Luxman D-10X has the best analog like sound due to its D/A converter. The built quality is outstanding. Esoteric toss around here a lot but to my ears its players are no where near analog sounding as Luxman.I would also t...
Streamer question
“i would be reluctant to rely on small makers to forever keep up to date on the ever changing streaming world and have their user interface and operating software fully up to snuff.”@jjss49 makes an excellent point. I would look at offerings from ...
Help buying first analog rig - Clearaudio Concept or Rega P6
“So I think I am going to pump the brakes for a year or so until I can save for something like a Feickert or VPI”@jmphotography Good call! As I suggested earlier, save up for Volare with Hana cart.
TriPoint Audio Grounding Devices
Tripoint is not inexpensive and their top offerings is certainly equivalent of audio jewelry. But I do concur with OP’s findings, passive grounding does improve your system sound by lowering the noise floor. I was skeptical at first but passive gr...

Help buying first analog rig - Clearaudio Concept or Rega P6
@jmphotography,If you like Clearaudio Concept TT, take a look at Dr. Feickert’s Volare turntable for $3695 with a Origin Live Mk3 tonearm. It’s a better TT / Tonearm combo and a great value, IMO. https://youtu.be/tb08CgmR5aUhttps://upscaleaudio.co...

Need help selecting a streamer for a beginner.
@pipebro,As you can see favorable responses for Bluesound Node 2 or 2i. If I were you, I would order the newest Node and not consider the Node 2 and 2i (now discontinued). The newly released Node ($549) offers two very important upgrades over prev...
HiFi Furniture
@hilde45,Nothing is forever in this hobby. That’s why you invest in a rack solution that offers flexibility. I am using the same racks and platforms for over 10 plus years in my room despite of numerous changes with components. My racks are from C...

+1, david_ten. I would approach Node 2i with low-fi expectations. Once you get your feet wet with Node 2i, I would look into offerings from Ayon, Lumin, Aurender and Auralic. Good luck!
The Luxman L-595A SE integrated is coming.
Congratulations @joeinid.
