Furutech AC Receptacles
I agree, in all audio forums there are always going to be those that voice their opinion without having used the product. Based on speculation or theory they state a thought they have and/or believe. Some time theory is correct and other times the...

Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?
kedoades, the upper end of Purist Audio power cords are very good. The CPT power cords are a different creature because now you are using balanced power (the box) which cleans the gunk from the AC and allows you to hear more details.I believe that...
Shielded power cord best used on Digital/Source or on Tube Amps?
ozzy,Yes, I realize that the DPS-4 is flexible. What I should have said is the  Furutech FP-SO22N ( Blue 14 gauge) is more flexible and of course lighter in weight. I'd always prefer the DPS-4 on my larger amp or power conditioner. On front end eq...

Shielded power cord best used on Digital/Source or on Tube Amps?
Ozzy, The  DPS-4 power cord is heavy and some what stiff. Although I find it easy to use on my amp and/or power conditioner that sits ground level I would be hesitant to use it on front end equipment that sits higher up in my audio rack and/or wit...

Shielded power cord best used on Digital/Source or on Tube Amps?
BTW Ozzy, I assume you already know this but I just want to mention that the 11 gauge Furutech DPS-4  cord will be a challenge to work with. I have no doubt that it will sound very good.
Shielded power cord best used on Digital/Source or on Tube Amps?
Ozzy, to me that makes sense, however, the power cords that I had made or I made was with the Furutech cable, well insulated.I still want to restate that the Furutech Nano-Ag-Au (FP-SO22N and FP-SO32N) sounds very very good. The 14 gauge is excell...
