Help with TT ideas for my first TT
Yes @kro77 now look for reviews regarding albums you want. I bought 10 of my favorite artists albums right out of the gate and the mastering/press was terrible. Blonde, Mellencamp, Springsteen, Amy Whinehouse to name a few. Never made that mistake...
Technics SL-1210GAE Anniversary delivery .
I wouldn’t worry @vinylnostalgic. It’s not a Technics problem but a covid/normal mail shipping issue. You're gonna love that table, if you ever get it. Speedy express is open for business but they’re not going to send it via bullet mail like Russian.

Congrats @kro77  on your first deck! What cart did you choose? I'm with @bkeske go with modern cart like a MoFi to start. My first cart was a MoFi Master Tracker. It's good for the money!
Turntable dealer/set up percon
I agree with @lewm    If you have someone in your area that know's what there doing and will take the time to talk to you about the process while setting things up, this is valuable. Unfortunately in Miami, I haven't found that person. I'd love to...
Vintage DD turntables. Are we living dangerously?
Welcome to PD-444 club @luisma31 I too think 3 tonearms on any table is ugly. Sometimes more isn't better. Luxman designed the perfect looking table with the ability to run two arms. Perfection!
Does the 33 hertz frequency turn vinyl into super vinyl "YES"
A great thread to read with morning coffee and scone. Vampires and werewolves!
Have a Victor UA-7045 tonearm coming
@billwojo no not Vlad. I will not reveal my time machine operator as I don’t want too many people invading his vault. :) Great deals do happen. I bought a mint Luxman PD444 with two NOS arm boards for $2000 from Japan 3 years ago. Had mint cover b...
Have a Victor UA-7045 tonearm coming
NOS UA-7045 and 7082 is the way to go if you can even find them. Must have time machine. I happen to know a Russian that has a time machine with excellent Japanese connections. My samples are NOS.

Technic's 1200GR with vintage Nos cart and your good to go. Such an easy table to set up and the arm is quite decent. It will last forever too!
Vintage DD turntables. Are we living dangerously?
I'll be using TT101 with original plinth and the AT-616's. Waiting for JP to receive my saucer and do his magic. Then off to Miami to sit in newly veneered original two arm plinth. The AT-616's are super cool looking too. @pindac
Best vintage DD turntables from the 70's and 80's?
@chakster as you know, I’ve got the Victor 7045 and 7082 waiting here in Museum and Victor carts. It will be a saucer invasion. Very excited to sit the TT101 next to Luxman with the Sony PUA-7 arm XL50 cart and the FR-64x with PMC3 cart.
Best vintage DD turntables from the 70's and 80's?
@totem395  will do. I'll call him once it arrives. I'm lucky to have it in JP's hands.

Vintage DD turntables. Are we living dangerously?
@luisa31There are many wonderful vintage tables available at affordable prices. The Victor and Luxman are part of the elite club and can be difficult to find. Denon, Yamaha, Technics, Pioneer all produced great tables in the golden age and many av...
Looking for tonearm inspiration
@bob54007-23-2020 2:31amYou collect tonearms?  And you swap them out to play?  Just curiousHaving multiple tables with a stable of arms and carts is all part of the fun.
