Inexpensive pair of bookshelf speakers. Well folks,I just ordered a new pair of Silverline Minuet Supreme Plus from Underwood HiFi. First I want to say that Walter was a true gentlemen. I called to snatch a demo pair of Supreme Plus for $590.00 a little too late. He told me that he woul...
Jelco and Dynavector There are better tonearms out there that will require you to spend lots of $$$$. The Jelco 750D is a hell of a tonearm for the asking price. Sleeper indeed! Spend the extra $$ and get the azimuth adjustable headshell and a good quality cable with it.

Most compatible phono pre for Lyra Delos The Complete has a full, involving sound with enough power (50 WPC) to drive most speakers for an amazingly affordable price Sbrownnw. That said, I prefer my 25 years old reference SS Integrated Amp over EVERYTHING I've heard out there; The Tandber...
Cartridge or cable upgrade Agreed with Zd542,There is a significant sonic difference upgrading to a 10x5, more so upgrading to a 20XL, even more so upgrading to a Virtuoso, especially with not so expensive ancillary equipment.Junk in, junk out! Your entire system is pretty ...
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH VPI ?? Doesn't surpise me Jcoehler as Larry and I extensively spoke about this last time I visited. A head to head comparison between the "new" Traveler and the RP6 also made me question the model. Just my opinion :-)
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH VPI ?? Zd642,You are right, Larry is the best! No one I know, knows more about TTs than Larry. He has been my "go to" guy for the past 12 years.
Cartridge or cable upgrade Not sure where you want to go with your last question Zd542. This thread has nothing to do with MC vs MM carts. My two cents, I lived very happily with a DV10x5 for a few years. However, the Virtuoso Wood was a revelation to my ears. Lyra Delos is... |
