Workshop/ garage is my favourite listening room hence Quad 57s at height for me standing- also the only place big enough for the speakers ( in fact the acoustics are really good in there- big square heated room with rubber floor mats and MGB in th...
Audiophile demographics?
I know two people both (still) into hi-fi (one very much so) who became transgender and now both have changed sex
Audiophile demographics?
Like vets (animal doctors not retired soldiers) women are more prevalent than their male counterparts in lots of things- musicians being one example and not just flautists and bands of old such as The Breeders, Girlshcool, Siouxie and the Banshees...
Are Shakti Stones effective?
I knew a guy that covered the whole internal wall surface of his house with copper sheet as he was paranoid about microwaves- not an audiophile but quite a good bass player...

Internet radio for Luddites
I see Audiolab do a 6000N with presets on the front but it sounds like this has 'app synchronicity' issues. Also Arcam but again app based by the look of it to work effectively. Also it's radio stations with real people/ DJ's and human involvement...
Internet radio for Luddites
Thanks cm6td- have just been reading the instructions for CXN and you are totally right. It seems to be the only bit of kit out there that is pretty much switch on, set the WiFi up and listen/ explore with a reasonable display. The reviews seem pr...
