| Cary SLP 03 I would get the 05, but I can't stand not having input select on the remote. If Cary comes out with a new pre with a remote that has input select that can perform like the 05 then I would be in for that. | |
| $2000-$3000 integrated with DAC ??? If you want to save up some more money there is the new ModWright Integrated. You can get it with a built in DAC. I have nor heard it but may be worth looking into. | |

| Benefits of brand synergy I think generally there is a ton of synergy from amps and preamps from the same brand. For sources, not so much. So I think you can have decent success from just doing the preamp/amp from the same brand but going elsewhere for the source. | |
