Schiit customer service seems poor
I think the freya can be dangerous.gain settings out of wack.  If injured u could likely sue.  How can ftc allow this to be sold.
XLR cables, worth buying higher end?
Mogami gold aes xlr seems to be the clear winner. A very credible player, widely used by pros.  $65 per cable.  Will try.abit nutty to spend $500 or more.
XLR cables, worth buying higher end?
Any diff between microphone and interconnect xlr cables?seems mogami xlr used for interconnect seems a solid choice.  Not hearing much to be gained spending $500 or more for a 3ft xlr pair.and saying this after spending $3k for speaker cables

Problem is i need two xlr pairs since i am using a stereo tube preamp bypass between a processor and speakers.my system is revealing.
How do people feel about BluOS?
It is if any streamer that does bluos is not the greatest.seems Roon/quobus combo has greater potention to produce better sq if it is not tied into a bluos environment.

Where is the weakest link?
Its a general question relating to cabling.
Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean.....
Voodoovilletelephone wire will work fine. Make sure wire is exposed to absorb oxgen, benefits electron flow.  Lubricate with vaseline.
Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean.....
Cable manufacturing is wierd science, and not unlike this thread.paying $2k for cables is nutty as can be.
Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean.....
Does anyone understand what happens to an analogue signal when it flows thru a speaker cable??and challenges in transmitting a delicate analogue signal???substance please
Do no harm to a signal! Does this mean.....
So what happens to a ‘good’ signal as it flows thru a cable?lesser cables do it different from a better cable.  You cant improve signal, so you want to limit harm.  So why is premise of my orig post wrong???
