TO DAC OR NOT TO DAC?
A totally irrelevant opinion.. my source is Mac Mini, my speakers either Dynaudio Xeo 20 or Edifier S3000 Pro (both active speakers). I found direct cabling was good, but putting a humble Schiit Modius in the middle made the sound a lot crisper. T...
Do you care about car audio?
What a great thread. We replaced our crap system that came with Lexus RX (low powered expensive brand name) with a Klipsch system. Driving around there’s a lot of ambient noise both from the car itself and outside so one needs a brusque street wis...
Got a Node 2i, what's next?
Another vote for RME ADI2 Pro. Unbeatable with any of the other options. Schitt is loved in my book, but RME is a crazy good product. I wish it made a difference in connecting my Mac Mini to my powered Dynaudio speakers.

If digital music is giving you headaches and vinyl is not, you have the wrong speakers.
WHAT IS THE MOST UNIQUE SONG THAT YOU HAVE EVER HEARD?
Letter by Yosi Horikawa.. great sound experimentations, with exquisite recordings. Jefferson Airplane would be on this list too. And of course Zappa, J Tull..
Amp for Special 40's
Focus XD 20 produce stellar sound. No struggle to find better amps etc, it's well tuned inside. Very, very powerful.
Ls50 wireless II vs separates with passive speakers
If you’re looking at powered speakers I’d give Xeo 20 from Dynaudio a try other than LS 50 W2.  In my totally subjective impressions the Xeos don’t get as much marketing jazz as KEF has managed, but are the better speakers in that range.
Your advice needed, speakers to buy $8K to $13K
At that budget you can get - Kii Three - Dutch & Dutch 8C - Genelac 8361 with SAM - Dynaudio Focus XD 30 or 20

Dynaudio Focus XD 20. No fuss no muss, excellent sound.
One Cord To Rule Them All
Based on the title subject of this thread, I'd suggest Nordost.
Dynaudio Xeo 20 vs KEF LS50 Wireless
Xeo 20 sound is decent, but two caveats. 1. The top end is way too muffled. Positive reviewers will call this "soft" or "warm", etc. No, it’s not that. it’s just missing. For people accustomed to better speakers or better headphones, one has to tr...
Which speakers did you find bright, fatiguing or just disappointing in some way?
A lot of Klipsch. Including all their new Bluetooth stuff like Sixes. And LS50 from KEF, completely overrated (Xeo 2 from the Danes is spectacular at that price range).
I nominate this company as building best speakers!
Would it be blasphemous to suggest I get this feeling from Dynaudio speakers all the time? I listen for hours. Many other “hifi” brands sound thin, or bright, or ultra bassy..  Focus XD 20 for me.
High end Class D amps?
Danish Lyngdorf TDAi3400 is right up there with Hegel 390 in my book. Of course the former is class D. Their room perfect is actually quite stunning and it has Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon. Absolutely perfect device for folks who still ...
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly
I have a Mac Mini that connects to a Schitt Modius DAC which by RCA connects to my speakers. Will these cables being discussed here help? Will they produce a noticeable sonic difference?
