ARC VT 100: MkII vs. MkIII? Sparky57: You are basically screwed. The MKIII is out. It is an $1,850 upgrade (I think).
"Whose" Beethoven do you like? BTW, Full price for the CD is only $11.99.
"Whose" Beethoven do you like? Some may disagree, but Leinsdorf conducting the Boston Symphony in the performance of the 9th is magnificent. There is a remastered release on BMG's High Performance label that will blow you away. It is inspiring! As far as all around sonics and p...

ARC Ref 2 There is a huge difference between the Ref 1 & Ref 2. Much more airy with a HUGE soundstage, greater dynamics, etc. It also seems to be much more quiet of an amp. It does have a bit of the ARC signature (everything has some sort of signature s...
All-time best recordings for romance Anything by Marvin Gaye.
Balanced Preamp Recommendations? Audio Research Reference 2 is the best preamp I have ever heard.
Rowland/Levinson preamp I have owned the 380s and thought it was GREAT!!! I do not know much about Synergy. I would assume that going with Levinson your resale would be better if that matters to you. |
