CAT SL-1 Ultim. Mk2 vs Manley Steel. for CAT JL-2 Schorly: I totally agree with Cincy_Bob and since you seem to be only concerned with playback through the Kuzma, I would lean toward the Manley Steelhead. Depending on the cartridge, I would also suggest trying a MC cart through the MM section.Dis...
The most emotional amp out there? Viridian: Where do you get your information from? Service is readily available for all Tenor owners.
Manley Steelhead Mooner: Sorry to say there are no XLR's. :( As a dealer for Manley and a former dealer for Tom Evans, I have to say both are excellent, but the Manley is, indeed, in a entirely different class sonically.
Von Schweikert DB99 or Vandersteen 5A ?? AlbertPorter & Programmergeek: As Bornie points out the DB99 is very similar to the Vandy 5a in regard to the powered and adjustable woofer. You might have been talking about some other speaker in the Von Schweikert line like the VR4jr.I think...
Parsifal Ovation First off, I am a Verity dealer and I am happy to share my thoughts.Big changes. The tweeter is the biggest difference. There is greater extension in the highs and a greater sense of air. The bass is significantly improved as well. The speaker see...
Parsifal Encore or Sarastro? As a dealer for Verity, I am very familiar with both. The Sarastro is a far superior speaker to the Encore. If you compare with the new Parsifal Ovation, it is much closer and mostly room dependent. The Ovation has much better speed and resolution ...
Anyone compared Whest Audio with Manley Steelhead? I sell both and them them both very much. That being said, the Manley Steelhead is in a different leagur than the Whest. The Whest at the 2600 price point is terrific, but it is not a fair comparison with the Steelhead.
Watts vs input sensitivity __2 Different size Amps One thing has nothing to do with it. You might find that one may seem louder at a lower setting than the other, but the higher power amplifier will ultimately put out more power.
Benz LP vs. Dynavector XV-1s Stanhifi: Why when it is fully disclosed that Ii am a dealer for a product is it shilling? I sell a product and use it because I prefer it to others. You buy a product and you use it because you feel it is better than others. As a dealer, I have ac...
Benz LP vs. Dynavector XV-1s Stanhifi: What a shock! Another sarcastic statement and nothing to contribute.
Benz LP vs. Dynavector XV-1s Jfrech: The Titan is an interesting cartridge. It is fast and dynamic with very good resolution. I would say the Dynavector is more natural with better body, texture and is more open. From memory they are similar in dynamics. The Dynavector mates e...
Benz LP vs. Dynavector XV-1s The Benz LP does not have the resolution of the Dynavector. Nor is it as fast and open. It is a beutiful sounding cartridge, but the Dynavector is much more lifelike and I would differ from Johnny's opinion and say in my experience, the XV-1S is q...
What are Sonic differences DAC6e Mk 1, 2 ,3, 4? The DAC6e that has been available to the public has always been the fourth generation of Ed Meitner's design. Earlier generations were only available to recording studios and have all been upgraded to the newest generation..
What are Sonic differences DAC6e Mk 1, 2 ,3, 4? There is no such thing as a MK1, 2, 3 and 4. There is a DAC6 and a DAC6e. The only differences are we added RCA connections and removed the fan which was for rack mounting.
BAT VK-75 The BAT is much more neutral and linear sounding with a much lower noisefloor. The CJ is a bit more powerfull with a warmer midrange and a bit puffier bass. |
