XM radio tuner for home Another vote for the Polk XM tuner. For better results try using a D/A and it will get you a few notches closer to cd quality.
EAR 834P Impedance? I believe it's 100 ohms at MC position and 47k ohms at MM position. In regards to adjusting, isn't user friendly for adjustments. Contact Mitch Hagerman as he would be the best to answer your questions about the 834-p.
Should I change my CD player ? Have you considered dealing with room treatments as this is the most over looked component!
Problems with Optrix Spray Xiekitchen, I haven't notice any sonic degrades just the cloudy CD and it's just about impossible to get them back nice and shiny! so I'm sticking to shine-ola as I have had no problems and it's a great product.
Problems with Optrix Spray Had the same problem and it doesn't happen to all cd, strange as I can clean a bunch and one will show cloudy. I stoped using optrix and use Shine-O-la and no cloudy cd. Good Luck
Tyler owners,BiWire or Jumpers I owned the Ref II and currently the Ref III and in both cases bi-wiring was best. Enjoy your new speakers!

McIntosh solid state amps, left on at all times ? biggest hurt on solid state is on/off, better to leave on 24/7 as there is less stress on the parts inside the amp when warm than going from dead cold to warm. As to the light bulbs, ever see one burn out while on!
How many records do you own? Been at this for about two years now and have around 700, 50% 60s-70s rock and 50% jazz. I buy 90% from used record stores as there are about a dozen stores within 40 miles of me and 10% off the internet.
Replacing Martin Logan Sequel panels I use to own Sequels and had to replace the panels also and all turned out well. The boomy base you mention was the sound I got when the panels went dead so perhaps the replacement panels are no good! Go to martinloganowners.com as there will be g...

bi-wire question Everyones system is different, search the archives as this has been discussed many times and usually ends up in a heated debate, sort of like the power cord thing! In my system double runs are best.
