| what has a Thiel soundstage, but more sensitivity? maybe some of the Meadowlark speakers?? they have been out of business for several years and their speakers are available at great prices used. they are time co-herent designs ala Thiel but easier to drive. | |

| Ribbon tweeters...out of favor these days? second the Raven tweeter (in my case the R1) ... fantastic in the Alon Exotica. GOOD ribbon tweeters are $$$, equal or exceeding the cost to the best dome tweeters. this is another reason you do not see them in many speakers | |
