| Jeff Rowland model two sounding thin With Mini Utopia @stereo5 The Model 2 is an old school mid-90s Rowland amp. Guessing it's just the different sound of the two amps i used to run the Micro-utopia with a PP EL34 tube amp and it never sounded thin. | |

| Tube life $1500 for an octet of EH 6550's seems excessive to the point of gouging. Even if that includes the smaller signal tubes it's still very excessive. I would buy my tubes from any of the vendors mentioned above before giving c-j another dime for tubes. | |
