InnuOS Sense 2.6.0.
I am just curious as to how a firmware update to a server can improve SQ by so much. I mean it is truly amazing! Is this some sort of FPGA which I understand mostly applies to dacs? Any thoughts?
Problem With Innuos Sense - Won't Play Selected Song?
nyev, Try rebooting your Zenith Mk 3. I had the same issue but all gone now after the reboot. Hope this helps,
Can a system sound too Holographic?
We get it. You want to talk about technicals. I just want to enjoy my music as live as it can be. To each his own, as always. Cheers!

@carlsbad2   I am going along with @antigrunge2 :- "Innuos is deliberately designed with a low power, low noise CPU. Roon however puts heavy demands on the CPU through DSP and other features, so it fundamentally follows a different design phil...
Can a system sound too Holographic?
Setting aside the technical stuff, what I hear from a system should be as close as possible to a live event.  It's live, it's real. No amount of engineering in the studio or in a system component should make music sound any more holographic than ...

@carlsbad2 Thanks for the reassurance but maybe it’s just me as I really do like the Sense interface. So less is just more in terms of fewer circuits and cables. Cheers!
Can a system sound too Holographic?
@aniwolfe  I agree with your friend. A soundstage that is too holographic is not natural. Music emanating from a live soundstage is never too deep or wide.

@antigrunge2 The current version of the Sense app allows you to clear your queue cache without going through service personnel. Clearing the queue cache is like clearing the cache of your computer or phone. It regularly frees up memory hogged b...

Roon vs Innuos Sense app :- https://community.roonlabs.com/t/having-problems-with-roon-with-innuos-zenith/169710 Roon does not seem to synergise with Innuos.
Innuos Network Isolation Switch and Reclocker (Phoenix)
@nyev, Roger that. Btw, I just read your review of the USB reclocker on another thread  :- https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/innuos-phoenix-usb-reclocker-sounds-worse As you say, everything is system dependent, so I probably need a home a...
Innuos Network Isolation Switch and Reclocker (Phoenix)
@nyev, Thanks for your kind response. The sound from my system is very balanced now and from your description of the NET switch’s sonic character, it may smoothen things just a tad too much for my liking. Many thanks again for helping me decide...
Innuos Network Isolation Switch and Reclocker (Phoenix)
@nyev Apologies for being late to this discussion. May I ask whether all the improvements that you hhave described after adding the Phoenix usb reclocker and NET switch apply only to streaming SQ or to stored files too? I would hazard a guess t...
Innuos Network Isolation Switch and Reclocker (Phoenix)
@chilehed  I agree. Within the confines of my system, I find playing music from storage files to be very much superior to streaming. To get streaming to the same SQ as stored files, going by the duscussion here, I would need to spend a whole lot ...

@antigrunge2   Innuos is deliberately designed with a low power, low noise CPU. Hence the better sound from Sense on Innuos equipment.   +1. The Sense app has 2 great features that also optimise SQ - Offline mode and Queue cache clearing.

@carlsbad  I have read that SQ is optimal with the Sense app instead of with Roon. If you have compared both on SQ alone, you will know if SQ is really any different. Roon interface is of course a big plus that may negate any subtle SQ differences.
