evolution acoustics mm2 - review after 600 hours Oops my mistake, am able to see their speakers now, not sure why it was trying to get me to register. Very nice looking speakers, would love to give them a listen!
evolution acoustics mm2 - review after 600 hours These speaker are interesting but can't believe a mfg requires you to register on their website just to view their products....
Pass Labs XA200.5 I too am as happy as can be with my Pass XA amps. Have been on the amp Merry-go-round off and on for a while and now I think I'm finally able to jump off and just enjoy the darn things. They're fantastic amps, keepers for life.
Any gemme tanto v2 owners out there? Ckoffend,So how is it coming along with the Katana and the ML amp? Do you think they're fine with SS power but maybe they need/like a little power behind them? Thanks for the great info so far!John
KEF 205/2 with Pass XA series amps?? Bondmanp,Thank you very much for your helpful post, much appreciated!John
Pass Labs heatsinks temperature I need to make a correction on my last statement; I meant to say that the hotest point is not towards the front panel but in-between the front panel and the rear, right about the middle and in-between the top and second fin. Sorry about that.
Towers with massive dynamics & soundstage $3k? What about Dunlavy SC IV?
Wilson Sophia III vs Sasha So I'm curious, what happened here; did you get the Sasha's or stay with your Sophia III's and work on upgrading your room??

pass labs compatible with kef reference 203/2 Hi Bondmanp,I submitted a reply a day or two ago that never showed. Try again; thanks for the reply. I agree with you; just don't see the Pass/KEF combon not sounding good but just wanted to get some opinions from those with experience. Thanks again!
Pass Labs heatsinks temperature Magfan,Ok, I went ahead and rechecked again as promised, I wanted to be sure my first readings were correct.I'm using an infrared thermometer and checked from front to rear and all fins in an attempt to find the hottest point on the amplifiers. Th...
Not your everyday bookshelf speaker? GR Research has some fantastic book shelf speakers. Epos also makes some excellent ones as well.
Usher CP-8871 MK II... what kind of sound? Dastrix,I would say they're a slightly warm sounding speaker, though not veiled, with a nice stout bass to them. They do like power, the more the merrier! I actually really enjoy the 88/8571 series speakers, they're a great bargain at the used pri...
KEF 205/2 with Pass XA series amps?? Yeah seems quite a few speakers do come alive with power but I think it's current they really desire. My Usher Be-20's sounded ok with a Classe CA-300 but with a VAC Phi 110(110 wpc) or a pair of Pass XA-100.5's on them they come alive, sounds lik...
Pass Labs heatsinks temperature I am not using a baby thermometer, using an infrared. I've checked the temps up and down, front to back and all the different fins and the highest I got was the 119.8F. It's warm but not hot to the touch. I'm going to run them all day today and th... |
