Breaking news! Jays Audio is moving to Texas and takes interest in McIntosh It’s not at all clear what kind of value he’s offering albeit a colorful character. He substantially augments his profits by selling a cable he makes with everything & he apparently gives no opportunity to compare it with anything else & n...
Does anyone on AG truly care anymore about objectivity & sincerity of Magazine reviews? Most (especially meaningful valid) replies & not one liners - are about magazine reviews, YG Acoustics as this was intended to be. YG represent an odd or even wierd lack of integrity indisputably unique to them as specifically stated. In a sem...
Does anyone on AG truly care anymore about objectivity & sincerity of Magazine reviews? jonwolfpell mentions YG are, "lean, dry & analytical", the issue that typically results with aluminum drivers. Exactly. Some love that, G-d bless them, but its not generally considered the desired norm as is endlessly sticking with that soun...
Does anyone on AG truly care anymore about objectivity & sincerity of Magazine reviews? It's harder to accept accolades from someone who has chosen not to own a pair, more so when that isn't explained. As to hearing them, that is difficult when there are relatively few dealers. They do not appear to sell in the quantities of their c...
Does anyone on AG truly care anymore about objectivity & sincerity of Magazine reviews? Is this YG review an interesting newish low (or at least right down there)? No new midrange driver (& the original an eternally unchanged, mundane, aluminum one decades old) at this stratospheric, price point when all competitors have radicall...
JBL's Marketing Blunder.. They went out of their way to try & do the opposite of what you're suggesting. These are not airheads or excessively glamorous or two dimensional. JBL tie to keep it real & reflective of the way people talk in real life. They ere aiming f...
Thumper’s Mother UncleDemp references as fundamental a truth as there is. Disagreement in no way, shape or form should partake of contempt - because it hurts the contemptuous (in real time) even more then those they seek to hurt. Love derives from our most powerfu...
Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address Yes, the "dryness" referred to is exactly what I have a prob;em with as far as aluminum drivers, particularly cone midranges. It’s very, very difficult to tame tweeters made of it but it can be done, but not commonly. Bass drivers often work well ...
Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address To csmgolf - Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote: “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. That & the market hardly sorts out all issues evenly or in every ones interest. Why it might matter to someone who values progress in the a...
Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address I've never heard a major high end speaker company not improve when they change their mr drivers. Including Rockport, Magico etc. To not even try bothers me. Yes, I have problems with most aluminum midranges, although Vivid was far, far better then...
Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address My post I wrote on 06-05-2024 at 09:23pm explains much of the first principles I'm concerned about & if read at all carefully in particular. I care about the audio industry & it's integrity that all sonic progress forward depends upon. Th...
Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address SOIX that sounds like anger for its own sake. I never said Magico or Rockport used ceramic drivers. Please reread the sentence you quote . "&" means and (in addition to), not intrinsic to. Even if I needed writing lessons - focusing on the le...
Grimm MU1 Streamer - Really "The Best"? lalitk asked me what other servers I heard to come to the conclusion I did regarding Baetis. Every other one at the Toronto Audiofest show.
Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address My apologies for not commenting earlier as I thought I would be getting emails that new comments were made & I didn’t. No personal axe to grind, just that some very promising technology is being left to rot on the vine. For no reason I can see...
Why so many ads It's clearly not necessary for ad revenue to do ads in this way as AG's competitors clearly show. They also have ads but not intrusive ones & never mixed in with users ads pretending to be the same until they're clicked on. |
