Anyone have/ordered the Job 225? I agree with Glory! The JOB is NOT lean!
Anyone have/ordered the Job 225? The Job is an amazing amp. Clear, articulate and three dimensional in spades with a sweet voice. Maybe the "leanness" that you think you heard was just before the initial break in. The amp is so clear and natural that some may take it as a little ...

Marantz Pearl Lite for LS50, or.. My vote goes to a Job 225 made by Goldmund. There is a thread in the amp and preamp section of the forum about the Job 225. The Marantz is a great unit and if you can get a great deal, you may love it.

"Best" preamp for Dartzeel NHB108 If you want the best sound to come out of your Dart amp, hook up a D'Agostino Momentum preamp. OMG! One of the absolute best solid state combinations that I have owned and heard. I am sorry that I didn't hang on the that pairing. My CJ GAT (or mos...
Preamp with Tone Control Recommendations .... Paul,Beautiful system! Thanks.
Preamp with Tone Control Recommendations .... As a CJ Gat owner and dealer, the GAT is anything but colored like the old CJ stuff of yore, the GAT has an organic quality that is truly outstanding, it is very transparent without being cold or overly romantic.Exactly! Very well said. Two years ...
Preamp with Tone Control Recommendations .... Your experience makes the argument that the preamp itself is a tone control of sorts. When people ask me for a romantic old fashioned warmish tuby sound pre, I point them in the CJ direction.I agree with that statement but the current series of CJ...
Preamp with Tone Control Recommendations .... I should have added to the post above that I have no intention of getting rid of my CJ GAT. I had one two years ago and missed it so much that I replaced it. |
