Health Effects of Acoustic Revive RR-77?
Thanks Peter
Health Effects of Acoustic Revive RR-77?
FWIW, I wasn't interested in addressing or discussing the sonic benefits of the RR-77 in this thread. I understand, though, that some people cannot help but take things in another direction. Also FWIW, I have had people over recently to watch spor...
Health Effects of Acoustic Revive RR-77?
It's comforting to know that one can always count on something, in this case sarcastic remarks by Audiofeil.
Health Effects of Acoustic Revive RR-77?
Thanks, Jea48. Some interesting reading. I am still interested in the experiences that audiophiles have had with the RR-77. I've only had the one I'm auditioning for about ten days. So far, I'm not aware of any changes in how I feel and, of course...
Merlin TSM comparisons
I agree that they should. Bobby has said nothing to indicate any reservations with regard to their use with the VSMs. I'd check with him if you're unsure, though.
New Speaker Cables for Merlin MME
Pedrillo,There are now at least three active threads now on this subject. I suggest you take a look at the others. The answer to your question, though, is "yes".

JVC XRCDs -- your experience?
I love my XRCDs. If you're looking for jazz, there are lots of choices. I'd personally start with Bill Evans' Waltz for Debby and/or Sunday at the Village Vanguard.
Bass and Treble Dials
You are correct with regard to the signal path. And tone controls can affect things such as imaging, soundstage, etc as much other things (distortion, purity, etc).I also want to suggest to you that there are other ways to affect the sound in your...
loudness wars: digital recording to improve?
Eldartford & Mapman:Agreed as well
loudness wars: digital recording to improve?
"exposed to error correction"? I don't understand that statement. In any case, compression is an entirely different - and *relatively* new - thing (at least to the degree that it is used these days).
loudness wars: digital recording to improve?
I agree with virtually all that's been said. The current state of affairs saddens me more than I can say. I'd be very happy if compression as we know it now ends. I am very skeptical that that will happen, however. It seems to me Mapman makes a gr...
