SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
OP, just to mention again, I believe the SVS feet are only $49 for a set of 4 (verify with them), with 45 day return period.  Shoot, for that little I would pull the trigger to see if it suits my fancy before investing in the high priced spread.

If you can get kenjit to give them his "perfect speaker" award you might get your ballpark price.

Another streaming newbie
From what I have read on the referenced thread below the Teac NT-505 seems to have its share of quality problems at this time.  I would consider waiting until the bugs are worked out before purchasing one.https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/tea...
Marantz 8b power cord replacement
Based on jea48's excellent post above, which I requested (from the electrically oriented) probably best to ignore my idea.
Marantz 8b power cord replacement
OK, amateur here, so those electronically oriented please advise if totally off the wall. Can’t you simply wrap the cord with electrician’s tape? Run it length wise along the cord and wrap around? If so, use a quality tape, it makes a difference.
External DAC connection for Bluesound Node 2i (after "Another streaming newbie" thread)
What made a big difference for me was using the Supra CAT 8+ ethernet cable bought on Ebay from seller zendada. Very nice and reasonably price. If you go this route be sure to buy from zendada and not the seller from England or you will have a rel...
External DAC connection for Bluesound Node 2i (after "Another streaming newbie" thread)
There’s always better, but don’t let others get you down for liking the 2i and its built in DAC. Yes, its a budget unit, but if you can’t enjoy listening through it, it’s on you. You will get a lot of chatter about the 2i being a gateway streamer,...
Silver is the appropriate color for everything but speakers.
All chocolate, all vanilla, I'll take a twist please, like to mix and match both.
New old or old new?
I don't know if you looked at Rhodes system page, but I would take any of his three pairs of speakers any day.  Just stunning in my opinion.  Go large or go home.

@thecarpathian "In my experience, going cheap always cost you more in the end."  Well yes and no in my humble opinion."Especially after you were very succinctly warned."  Oh yeah!
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@dtximages  I was actually considered getting these for my subwoofers, not realizing that there were already feet on them..  I was just checking out the SVS website and if I understand their pricing correctly it looks like it only cost $49+shippin...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
@dtximages I have an older pair of the SVS SB12-NSD subwoofers. My subs came with smallish rubber feet (I assume rubber) that keep them off the wood flooring. I would think yours did also. Are you just wanting larger ones?As I mentioned mine work ...
Who's Gone Topless?
Tweak1, I have always run all my tube amps with the cages off, to make tube changes easy and see the glow.  But that's been about it, if for no other reason my place seems to attract a lot of dust, pollin,
Nicotine reidue on drivers
Here is a different answer from someone who would manage to ruin something if he tried to do it himself.  I would call Bill at Millersound and see if he would tackle the job.
