Midrange Increasingly Harsh
Probably need new tubes as noted above.  If that doesn't do the trick, I believe your tweeter is a Seas 25TAF/G which appears to use ferrofluid.  Depending on the ease of tweeter partial disassembly, you may be able to change the fluid yourself. ...
What is the science behind audiophile fuses?
Amnesia has mercifully aided in my forgetting who that person is you mentioned immediately above. However, I will take this moment to remember the true champion of the audiophile fuse, and while I may not have agreed with him, I much liked him.  ...
What is the science behind audiophile fuses?
In the history of all fuse threads, and correct me if I am wrong, there has never been a straight answer regarding how the special audiophile fuses work from a manufacturer (spell check roxy54) or retailer. Among those answers by users, as interp...
Are higher end preamps worth the investment when you are only streaming Tidal & Spotify ?
It's funny that the individual selling the innuos zen in the link above is selling the innuos to move to a combo dac/streamer.  The ONLY reason for the sale is that I am moving to a DAC w/ streaming capabilities and so the Innuos would be redund...
I'm going to buy my first tube amp. I need honest blunt opinions
Good karma to you @coltrane1
Can anyone identify these speakers?
@roxy54 I think it's a bot.
what preamp goes best with mccormack dna 500, follow up....
@kennesawjet I am not familiar with your particular preamp and couldn't locate any information googling herron v1.  If it is a tube preamp you know their tubes often loose fidelity slowly over time.  If it is a tube pre and you haven't changed tu...
New Linear Parasound Halo JC1+ monoblocks, an even more improved new John Curl design
@tweak1  Well, you certainly seem to be doing very well without the LSA.  You have a sweet looking set up that I bet sounds great.
New Linear Parasound Halo JC1+ monoblocks, an even more improved new John Curl design
@tweak1 Sadly, I managed to take out a GaN module and was glad I kept the EVS1200 Just wondering if your LSA 350 was under warranty? I know you were very happy with its sound, wondering what ever happened to it?
Hum in speakers
@defandum  I think most, but not all,  rca cables are adequately shielded for use with a turntable. I was more thinking you could "borrow" a set you already have from another component.
Hum in speakers
@defandum  Based on my own experience, I suggest you try a different set of interconnects.  The first pair I used resulted in a not inconsequential hum.  Then switched to a different pair and the hum was completely gone. I was told by the cable ...
First Tube amp suggestions
Unless you are planning on using easy to drive high efficiency speakers, which many like, I would not want to limit myself to a low watt amplifier.  If going the Black Ice route, I would opt for the F22 integrated at 50-60 watts per channel, only ...
A Story about a Defective Signature Platinum
@mijostyn  Sorry to hear about your abysmal treatment.  I can't think of a worse case of customer service, they should be ashamed of themselves.
Chinese fake cables How fake, how good?
@roxy54  Your right and agree, was just thinking of some noobie jumping in at the end of the thread without context.
Why Don’t You Post Your System on Your Profile?
@kota1 You know, I understand why you think other members should post their systems and personally like when they do.  It is both interesting and provides some background about their audio journey and how you might interpret any advice they give...
