Russian Tube Preamp, No Return, Here I go again
By the time you get it, you may have forgotten you ordered it.  In which case it will be an unexpected surprise!  I'd be interested in reading about your impressions. Good luck!
Bass is clearer and more impactful when I stand vs. when I sit
If you need to move your speakers use furniture moving pads appropriate for your floor that allows you to slide them more easily.  After you find the best spot then you can obsess about spikes and such.
Best means of isolating digital equipment i.e. DACs, CD transports, wall warts etc.
Nice cords!  Beautiful photography.

@tomic601 I did that swap and and my system sounds more clear with the analog going into the hydra.  A few years ago, different equipment and different room, the best I obtained was when the preamp was plugged into the iso tranny by itself with th...

@tomic601 I don't have the luxury of 3 dedicated circuits; I will only be able to add one.  Right now I have my analog plus ayre codex DAC plugged into a hydra 2 conditioner (clean side).  I use a distributor to gain extra outlets since the hydra ...

Is that what you did to fund the Moabs?

I have two dedicated digital power cables.  A shunyata alpha digital and a Signal Cable digital power cable.

I should add that the CD may not be spinning since when I eject the disc it isn't rotating like it usually does.  The display just reads No Disc.
Newly patented, infinitely adjustable system tuning
Hi! Sounds like gratuitous fondling of knobs to me.  Where are those moderators when you need them?
What did your system look like 30 years ago?
Magnepan MG-1c, Kyocera A-710, Rotel RP 850, JVC XL-Z1050TN.  Still have all except for JVC and used in a secondary system for nostalgic purposes!  It's been a long journey since then.
Power amp for Vandersteen Treo?
^ good advice.  I owned a DS-225 a few years ago and while I initially liked the see through sound stage and transparency, it eventually wore on my ears.  I eventually switched to Ayre which was more musical and relaxed.
I think I over treated my room. I can't hear anything.
Makes you wonder if you can hear noise such as that from a vibrating transformer in any equipment that you would otherwise swear is dead silent.  How about the rumble of a turntable or the stylus tracking grooves on a record with no audio connecti...
