What is the quality of this internal speaker wire?
Yes, upon further research, I find it is oxygen free copper stranded wire that is silver coated. It would be hard to get a sonic improvement worth the time and money it would cost. Thanks
What wire to use /"upgrading" internal speaker
What quality of wire is the "Van Den Hul H.C. CS 18 Nitrogen Free" ??Is it worth upgrading this wire?
Expressimo Audio "the LIFT" ....doesn't
After many attempts to contact 'Expressimo audio' owner Sal...I have modified the lift myself.Took a stainless steel acorn nut...melted lead into the hole, and double-sided sticky-tape'ed it to the Lift...being careful to maintain the balance of t...
Repair a warped record?
Thanks guys....I'll let you know how it turns out!
Do the Audio gods shine upon you?
Another 'plausible' explanation...would be changes in humidity and temperature and barometric pressure. All these conditions affect the density of the air. Ask any pilot. Air is less dense when hot, humid, or high up(like Denver). Aircraft perform...
The importance of azimuth
Sberger....I'm with you . These adjustments just don't make THAT big a difference. Hundredths of a gram? come on. I've got all the stuff, too...JMW 12.5/Extended Aries/Lyra Helikon, and have to crank away on the old VTA before any sonic difference...
Review: Nordost Quattro-fil RCA Interconnect
I'd like to add to this discussion as I have just replaced AP Crystal Oval with Nordost Quattro-fil on the run from turntable to pre-amp. Better clarity is very evident, as well as more highs. Perhaps the most surprisingly and enjoyable benefit wa...

Grills OFF or Grills ON ???
In a way, it's kinda my fault....believe it or not, the addition of a Nordost Valhalla interconnect cable between the cd player and pre=amp has brought my system 'to life' as my girlfriend says. Well, the cats think so too and as they pretty much ...
Grills OFF or Grills ON ???
Well, the worst has happened! After almost 3 months of leaving the grills off my Tannoy D-700's, I actually watched as one of the cats stared inquiringly at the upper driver for about 30 seconds. How cute, I thought, as it looked a lot like the fa...
Tonearm cable recommendations
After a "brief" period of use (one week and 10+ hours) onNordost Quatro fil tonearm cable, I can definitely say it was a worthwhile upgrade. Most noticeable is the increased 'air' and 'spaciousness'...and there is more defined bass, which is reall...
Analysis Plus Crystal ovals vs. Nordost Valhalla??
TheDautch, your analysis was 'right on' in my opinion...after trying the Valhalla now for a week, they do add a few 'points' over the Crystal Ovals. I'm happy with all my components, so I can only realize system improvements with interconnects now...
RCA D2D from Japan,,solo classical guitar..
Jsujo,Segovia "feel"?? Yuck! The guy had fingers like bannanas....an icon in the classical guitar world but he has been surpassed IMO by many.Try David Russell....the latest big gun, and not well known yet.Of course, there's John Williams, and then...
