Wilson Sasha 2 Pre owned?
Sigh....
Wilson Sasha 2 Pre owned?
Frankly, dealers should not be posting things in these forums which are for us audiophile consumers.Yes Dave Audiodoctor NJ....(hey, why not add your 800 sales line number to your posts too?) Your posts are always promoting the equipment you sell....
Wilsons are the best speakers in the world
Wilson Audio philosophy is to not add "coloration" to the system, and they dont.  So any electronics manufacturer would be attracted to using them at shows because you would hear THEIR equipment.Wilson (example Maxx 3) is fully capable of reproduc...
Spend more money on the amp or the pre-amp?
Yes, i agree with the suggestion to find a vintage Japanese integrated amp/preamp//tuner.   The higher power Pioneers my favorite.
What is your speaker ownership history since 1995?
JBL L-100's   college daysTannoy D-700 moving on up after graduationWilson Audio Maxx 2' s used ...but next levelCurrently, and lastly...Wilson Audio Maxx 3's.   Awesome. But, you don't care.
Jena Labs cables simply amazing!!
Dreamdancer interconnects between pre-amp and monoblock amps...very lush.  But the magical, holographic effect of Stealth Sakra between cd player and pre amp adds to that very important front end.  Worked the way up with BOTH brands.  Lesson:if u ...
Slight hum in my amp. Is this normal?
Is your system set up for pure stereo?  Or, are you connected to some video theatre stuff too?If so....disconnect all the inputs from sources leaving only one source at a tine....cd, phono...etc.I'm thinking you need to rule out groundloop.
Stealth Indra vs Stealth Sakra
My first impression going from the Indra to Sakra is more detailed and lusher (at the same time) bass and mids with Sakra....yet the same spaciousness of soundstage and clear highs. Still evaluating and burning-in.Maybe not worth the extra bucks.....
Wilson Audio paint problems
Addendum to my above post.My Maxx3's arrived perfect except one corner on one of the woofer grilles had a very small tear due to the shipping stress (Wilson ships them attached to the speakers to protect the drivers). Delivery and setup was on Mon...
Is a Sub worth the bother?
SimbAtran......wrong!I run 3 subs with my Wilson Audio Maxx3's. MX-5000's.They are run directly off the pre-amp...NO interaction with the speakers at all, which receive a full signal from the pre-amp/amplifiers. They are filtered waaaay down below...
Stealth Dream SC
Actually, there's opinion that longer speaker cables with shorter interconnects to the amps sounds better than shorter speaker cables with longer interconnects.See Mapleshade's info/catalogue, for one. I believe those guys are great at getting fan...
Wilson Audio paint problems
I can't believe all this negative vibe about Wilson Audio quality.Took delivery on a pair of Maxx3's today. They are superbly finished in EVERY way! The paint is an upgraded metal-flake Macadamia color. I am an exotic car hobbyist and own 3 of the...
Stealth Dream SC
Thanks to this thread, I have purchased a run of the Stealth Dream speaker cables (7.5meters).You guys still liking yours? Is there truly that long a break in period? I'm going to be changing them out along with the new Maxx3's (from the Maxx2's)....
Upgrading from TMC speaker cables- to what???
After having great luck with the Stealth line of interconnects (Indra) I decided to go with their "Dream" speaker cable. A few reviewers here on the 'gon helped me with the decision through their reviews in this forum.Thanks.
