Unbelievable 3-D imaging sound I read Jim Smith’s “ Get better sound”, watched the DVD’s, played w tape measure ( I know, old school- should have used Lazer- didn’t have one - YET), spent a weekend listening, having kids & wife listen, found the sweet spot & was amazed....

Versatile, non-fatiguing speakers for a small room under $1500 used or new: advice needed! My choice several years ago when faced w similar situation was Harbeth moniter 30 (before they started adding numbers to the end of the model number). Best Speakers for a small Nearfield room, budget at most $10000 (used is also ok) Second the Harbeth 30’s, got mine used years ago on the ‘Gon, never looked back.
What has been your costliest mistake in this hobby? Biggest?- easy:Had Old Wurlitzer 78 rpm jukebox, noise & static, reached in, wiggled the plug where it went in the amp to get better connection, got my finger & thumb around the speaker field coil output, most definitely got my attention. ...
