B&W N802 vs Revel Studio
you're bored and something, but not another pair of speakers...of course they're no better.
sand versus shot in speaker stands
somehow, some didn't get the memo that lead is poisonous. it shouldn't be kept in the home under any conditions.
TOTEM Sttaf removing mass loading
do not buy any used speaker 'loaded' with anything. that of course goes for shipping as well. at best, the change in sound is subjective (moving the speakers may accomplish the change...and its lighter), and you hurt or impare future resale /shipp...
Are Harbeths really "all that?"
solid (read classic)british sound. as for being 'all that', they'll have to line up with a lot of others, british..and other.
Neat loudspeakers
this is more about your taste. both of these products are great..the neats have the 'cool' factor nod.
sand versus shot in speaker stands
anything but lead, if anything at all.
Pink Triangle Anniversary vs Raven One
comparable in performance...the vintage pt is cool however
Klipsch vs. Dynaco A25
any quality ss or tube amp will drive any klipsch including fortes just fine. too much is made of pairing with tubes. mac ss with klipsch has long been as good a pairing as peanutbutter and jelly. creek and other integrateds too.

the saphire is a tiny step up from the rock, but hardly worth the money, if the rock is in great operating condtion and still does it for you.
Speaker Ideas upto $2500
lots of great used buys from many brands...'new' however, in that range for a magnificent allrounder...klipsch, ohm, maggie (castle if you can find it)..pick your poison.
Whats on your turntable tonight?

Pick 2... Ohm WMT,ML Source,Zu Druid,Gallo Ref 3.1
the ohms are without equal on this list....if not completely on board, look at klipsch cornwalls as an alternative that very different, but completely satisfying. both are 'old school'if different schools, and both play well beyond their price. vi...
Klipsch vs. Dynaco A25
this is a tuff choice (both are incredibly good). i'd give the nod to the heresy. dynamic beyond most at any price, and given the right components, and a small to medium room, it plays 'like you're there'. no deep bass, but whats there is not 'one...
Castle loudspeakers resurrected
the howards and harlechs are 'please get me off the merry-go-round' products. forgiving, yet dynamic...good bass and sweet midrange. the finer qualities of the best brit sound, only historically they thumbed their nose at advertising and kissing a...
300B for LS3/5A?
best with push pull.....in many ways, still incomparible.
