Is there a modern equivalent of Allison Ones? i currently use an mc275 to drive the gradients. they can be arranged in a variety of positions. they love power, but years ago i ran them using a 40w cyrus.
Is there a modern equivalent of Allison Ones? if we're talking corner placement and balanced sound..gradient for sure. out of the corners, any full range sealed design that doesn't favor certain frequencies would owe a bit (directly or indirectly) to roy, henry kloss, and other AR alumni.
Need help from Pink Panther fans go to imdb.com and look up the title...all the music credits are there
McCormack DNA-1 compared to Parasound HCA-1500A your speakers are great...the mccormick will drive them just fine...some other ss in your range that do a disappearing act as well...bryston, belles....check for minty used.....the mccormick is fantastic
Bluenote stibbert vs. modified units the bluenote sounds great, but in all honesty the difference between most 4k players and many 2k players is extremely small. depending on what you use now, you may be throwing money away.
What are these "SUPERBIT" DVD's? any dvd which is dual layer, with a mininum of features, by default has a better picture. superbit simply used all the space for optimum picture and sound....oh yeah, its already doa.
The Shape of the Watt / Puppy and Others sota was one of the pioneers

Einstein The Tube users...help zero should mean just that....
Plinius SA100 MKIII/P-8 vs. Belles/McCormack SS? draw straws....all three are uniformly excellent. the plinius is a classic however.

wilson cubs reposition the speakers. the b&k is pretty neutral
Best TT under 2K? if purchasing new, its nearly impossible to beat an mmf9 package.
If you had to pay full retail, would you...??? the notion that a manufacturer's retail list price is even valid today is 'imaginary'. just like the benefits of many upgrades. |
