moving up from Bryston B-60
the totem is a more dynamic speaker than the old school signet, which is power hungry like older ar and advent models. the b60 is very, very balanced, and should mate nicely with the totems....even at low volume.

when a company hides its origins...they are not being honest, plain and simple....'designed in england and manufactured overseas' is comical. desiged by whom? and made where?.......heck, even a 'set of cups and saucers' contains more revealing inf...

What to expect from MONO
a piece of vinyl wears from the first spin. make sure your records are dust free when played, so the heated vinyl doesn't cool with embedded particles.....break in -no...break down-yes.

did not comment on its sound....i just think when product comes from china or anywhere, the manufacturer should be forthcoming to the consumer. as for a 6moons review....get a grip... 
Looking for a bookshelf at 2k or less.....
psb and paradigm models(such as the oversized bookshelf studio 40) are fine speakers.....under 2k i could recommend dozens used and new. i would however recommend a floorstander on the slim side, unless that is impossible.

vinyl was about .01 percent of all music sales in 2006. in 2005 it was .023 to total....thats not a comeback.....

one more thing...the number of lp 'releases' were up for a few years, but sales on a per title basis are now way down....on average , a vinyl run (gernerally the first is also the last is around 1200 units. the vinyl reissue business is the lion's...

What to keep?
you can't have too many vintage marantz and phillips receivers. keep em. the phillips stuff is getting very rare in nice condition. let the rest fly
