Change to Horns or stay Dynamic
even the largest horns cop out in the bass(falling back on a driver in a box), and in some cases the highs.... 
SOTA vacuum or no?
the only performance reason to change would be to go to the vacuum model. that said, the vacuum isn't necc gonna be a revalation. a cartridge or vpi upgrade might even be an option. 
Removal of plug/wall outlet - hard connection ?
amps are not designed to be hardwired, no more than a veg-o-matic.
