Dealers hijacking the discussions There would be a lot of feedback and a lot of discussion disruption.
Dealers hijacking the discussions Then why not the rest of us advertise ourselves too ? That would be entertaining. Hey, I want to take the opportunity to advance my business too.
Dealers hijacking the discussions Alright. It is very plain and simple. All the dealers and manufacturers, please do us a favour and leave this forum once and for all. Just because you have a formal right to be here doesn't mean that you should. Stop irritating us and humiliating ...
Why do turntables sound different? racedoc, there will be a significant difference if you leave this thread.
Dealers hijacking the discussions Just a thought. When you can audition full Gryphon reference system in Hanoi but not in New York, something is definitely wrong. And when Flemming, the disigner, hangs out over there while supervising the installation of the mentioned system in so...
Has anyone made the jump to $uper High end and were disappointed? Speaking of super high-end, $4000 only buy used/demo cable or used cartridge or rack, though some advocate that $500 vintage cartridges can be at least just as good. I will never be operating at this level, I think just high end will be satisfacto...
Why do turntables sound different? There was a thread years ago about recordings from vinyl to half track high-end deck sounding in some respect better than the record. There were a lot of arguments from both sides. I think, tape has more fluidity and continuity, it also sounds big...

Has anyone made the jump to $uper High end and were disappointed? Throwing - no, but super sound is expensive even if you buy used. Let's not fool ourselves.

Dealers hijacking the discussions At least no-one around here pushes brands that I am interested in, except myself, of course. Good.
Dealers hijacking the discussions I understand the dealers'/manufacturers' need to make a living but I don't give a damn about it when participating on this forum.
Dealers hijacking the discussions Yeah, it irritates me too. Some of them are like flies all over the place. They keep begging pretending to offer an expertise. Others are okay, they don’t sound like audiophiles, though, but nor do many participants, dealers or not. Overall, this ...
I need help, please? Listening to my system through music! I would return to the LSA amp and start unbiased - as much as possible - evaluation of the entire system regardless of the consequences. I myself do it from time to time. By now I know that after upgrading one more pair of RCAs and power cords, I ...
Has anyone made the jump to $uper High end and were disappointed? I listen to what I like regardless of the recording quality, and in most cases it is not good to various degree. Yet, even the worst of them sound a little better with each small upgrade. At the same time you hear better recordings’ flaws as well.... |
