Which amp would you choose and why - Pass Labs XA-25 or First Watt F8?
galacticmayan - I was in a similar situation owning Tannoy (Churchill’s) and intrigued to try a First Watt product. I emailed Nelson and he said:On thing about our amplifiers, they all like the Tannoy products – not a surprise since that’s our ref...
Problems with Innuos Music Library missing covers
I’ve had a similar issue, even after updating to V2 Innuos Sense. 3 weeks later, 3 emails to support an no answer. I suspect they have been overwhelmed with this release. Since the upgrade I found the OS thought I didn’t have an internet connectio...

If you’re still open to a tube amp still, and you want to give the the current they need, there is one amp I know that’s well within your budget that would do an awesome job with them - it’s the Antique Sound Labs Hurricanes. 100w triode, 200w pen...

Innuos Zenith Mk3 vs Zen Mk3 + Phoenix
Darn, I missed your comments in_shore. I glad you did find (like me) the Zenith Phoenix combo worthwhile. What DAC did you pair it with?
What makes speaker's sound big?
Mikelavigne, where you said....some good mid bass is also helpful; again the speaker driver surface in the mid bass needs to be matched to the volume of the room so it can propagate. the whole room needs to be energized.is there a formula  one cou...
Opinions!!
Most in your situation that have stayed and appreciated panel speakers have a real hard time moving to a boxed speaker. ’m surprised you didn’t put Soundlab on your list.  They would check all your boxes.
Innuos Zenith Mk3 vs Zen Mk3 + Phoenix
antigrunge,Musicians used to hear A=432 for a very long time. It is said to be more natural. Here is a little bit of background:https://www.mindvibrations.com/432-hz/If someone can build a box that will play it both ways and people appreciate it a...
Innuos Zenith Mk3 vs Zen Mk3 + Phoenix
@jsqtYes, it is about taking concert pitch A=440, and lowering it to 432. This means the whole song is dropped via a DSP.  They say it’s more natural and pleasing to the ear and that concert pitch at some point in the past was 432. I suppose whats...
