The character of analog and digital
… ( some unkind people call Australians- " Americans in training") … @brianaus - that is a cracker of an insult.
Balanced vs. Single Ended Interconnects
Is it worth getting some cheap Monoprice XLR cables Yeah - I think it is worth it to try them. I personally use Mogami and Neutrik, but I doubt it makes much difference in XLR.z It should sound great… or as great as the same cheap cables it was...
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
We could all pause and take a good look at ourselves occasionally.   One could argue that sticking to the thread topic is not trolling. If you want to try that sometime, then I am sure few would complain… @jerryg123  … then you can change your m...

I tend to agree with Mark Baker of Origin Live and his three pillars of sound quality: dynamics, tonality, and clarity @millercarbon I thought it was 5 pillars?

Wow, a lot's been going on since I've been on.  @holmz  Fantastic measurements of the the Kento Carbon speaker which received glowing reviews.  $40K is near my max to spend on speakers.  I've got to hear them.  Thanks! @fleschler Not everyone c...

This thread is like a group therpy session for 4th graders. When a product shows nothing to back up its claims, I am pretty sure that it is make believe.   And don’t forget to bake the cables.

Don't you mean "you people"? Not everything living under a bridge are considered people.
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
That is true but not in the manner you are thinking. Gated measurements are used in Klippel for higher frequencies (usually above 1 kHz -- it is a user setting). Lower are generated using field separation giving you very high resolution down to 2...

Is anyone surprised that @amir_asr is unwilling/unable to post his own system? It is curious. You are like a broken record.

Was lowering sibilance a good thing for you, or did it darken things up excessively? I did see one individual had azimuth issues with his example, seems his Korf was incorrectly manufactured, free replacement corrected this. Other than this I've ...

holmz  … so there is at least one that takes some pride in the measurements. Sadly those measurements are gated/in-room and as such, have no low frequency resolution to speak of.  Ok - many people have read the Toole and Olive… While FR i...

@holmz it was a reference to Revel not Vandys ^true^ but he said: Lack of published manufacturer measurements is true for nearly every speaker manufacturer I’ve searched for on line, perhaps several hundred. … so there is at least one that ...
Power cords or power conditioner
@holmz  I'm not technician to answer your about the power surge, can look at the pro who answering the surge from the YouTube video. hope it helps.  https://youtu.be/iigXmQgFO2I It looks like a magic trick… That loop of wire actually creat...
Ground voltage!!
Sometimes a corroded neutral wire at the service junction can raise the neutral voltage. But one would see browning out of lights as the high current devices kick in. The ground does not usually raise up thoiugh.
Pleasurably better, not measurably better
No, I’m not saying they are either, but that no oscilloscope or calibrated microphone knows the experience you are trying to have, that you want to have, that makes you feel good. Yeah true. But most people find certain distortions are grating....
