Shorten those lengthy power cords? Rrog,No HiFi or Stereo at Best Buy,oh well.I guess they wouldn't want me working there because I wouldn't have any idea on what kind of iPod to recommend.
Shorten those lengthy power cords? I forgot to mention,if your interconnects and power cords need to cross each other, try to keep them at 90 degree angles when doing it.If you can't,the more distance between them helps.
Shorten those lengthy power cords? A little different advice here, try to keep the power cords away from your interconnects. Also try not to run IC's and PC's parallel to each other.Power cords down one side of stand, interconnects down the other will help. The power cords could have...
Anti-Skate::Playing LP's vs. 12 Mmakshak,Also when I started using the less VTF method to help set theanti-skate, it tested out pretty good when the dealer used his test record and measured my settings electronically with his test gear. After measuring my setups,he said my method...
Anti-Skate::Playing LP's vs. 12 Mmakshak,I've should have said that I used less VTF while trying to get the anti-skate setting as good as possible.I know some won't like this idea, but it gave me good results and wear patterns.
Anti-Skate::Playing LP's vs. 12 Mmakshak,I've found some eyeglass tightening O rings(2 together with string between)that I've been using for my string anti-skate setting.A lot were to big,but at $1-4 for a kit to find tight ones,I figured why not.I don't know if they have any dr...

Running 4 speakers from a 2-channel amp Besides what Almarg mentioned about running speakers in series, the highs and mids will suffer too.The highs and mids will all be traveling through the other speakers low frequency choke and other parts of the crossover that otherwise would never,a...
Cheap Interconnects from Hong Kong Since it sounds like they are made in China, the factory may run a quantity of the assembly line for themselves. Audioquest might not even no they do it.Or they could be pure counterfeit. Being that its a most likely an easy to copy product, who kno...
Anti-Skate::Playing LP's vs. 12 I myself never heard of a separate setting for 12" 45's.They are not that common though. Maybe since they have bigger grooves,it might be amplifying a tracking problem that is not noticeable on LP's.If you could change your antiskate and put it ba...
cleaning the pins of NOS tubes...bad idea? Use care when removing tubes with a base. Its easy to break the base loose. Also, you need to be careful about the writing if you want to resell them. The writing rubs off fairly easy. |
