| Chinese products I've been very happy with Chinese Opera Consonance products. They also do the production for Hegel products. They are not of low quality and not inexpensive. For their price they can compete with products from anywhere. | |

| Tube tester recommendation! Hickok testers are considered the best but can be very expensive,I have a Eico 667 which is popular and can be had on Ebay for about $200. Since these units are 50 to 60 years old they may updating and mods. There is lots info on the web. | |

| Triode or Ultra-linear? Why? I have Triode / Ultra Linear mode switches on my MonoBlocks. I like Triode Mode better. Midrange detail is better. I guess it depends on the speakers you are using do to lower power output. | |
