Can't get Acoustic Zen Adagios to sound smooth
Sunnyjim, there is absolutely no need to be rude. After all, you created this topic, because you need help. And others, myself including, are trying to make the right suggestion.I'm only speaking from the perspective of my experience. As for class...
Can't get Acoustic Zen Adagios to sound smooth
Zd542 "I wouldn't assume that its the amp that's at fault. It could just as easily be something else".Zd, you're free to assume whatever you want. Of course It could be anything, including the ghost in the closet. Given his history - two different...
Can't get Acoustic Zen Adagios to sound smooth
Jim, putting the manufacturer at fault, because you can't get them to sound good to you, is one of the funniest thing in this hobby I've heard.Look, you've been struggling with those speakers for a long time. You obviously have a problem with choo...
Parasound halo JC2 what a joke
Sh$t happens all the time, even with more expensive companies. And more often than one might think.Owners just don't like to report it here, because of the resell value of their pieces. Now, to suggest enthusiastically "not to buy any more Parasou...
has BAT priced itself out of the market?
As far I know, BAT belongs to Music Direct. VK just works for them, and has nothing to do with their prices anymore.
Your most disappointing purchase or audition?
Krell kav 300i - just horrible.Plinius 9200 - the mids were MIA.Musical Fidelity A5 integrated and CDP - very unmusical and sterile.Trelja, basically, what's been implied here by you in not politically-correct language is that Robert Lee doesn't k...
Acoustic Zen Crescendo
Guys, sorry for the late reply. My Crescendos are almost 8' apart, 5 degrees toed-in, and 10 feet away from my listening position.
Acoustic Zen Adagio vs Crecendo ?
Schubert, the price difference is too big to compare them. If you have local stereo shops, you can audition two speakers from the same brand and similar price range. First thing you'll notice huge dynamics on the big expensive speakers, which chea...
Acoustic Zen Crescendo
Wig, I can sign under every word you wrote about them. Crescendos are unbelievably wonderful. After all of these months of living with them I still can't believe I got so lucky to have them. And got them even without listening. We got the same cab...
Acoustic Zen Crescendo
In my experience around 500 hours did just great. I have them toed-in for about 5 degrees towards me. Using them with BAT vk55SE.
Acoustic Zen Crescendo
Fine speakers. Been using them since March, and don't have a single regret for buying them. They do absolutely everything a music lover needs. Don't think about the audiophile point of view, and don't care much for it.
Review: Acoustic Zen Absolute Copper Interconnect
Ckulmann1, I just PM-d you with the answer.
Interconnect Cables for Pre-and Power amp
Acoustic Zen Absolute Coppers fit your cable description. Last time I saw them used at $750, but they are absolutely worth it, IMO.
Review: Acoustic Zen Absolute Copper Interconnect
I have to agree with you, folks. These are terrific cables. I'm using them between BAT vk42se pre and vk55se power amps with Acoustic Zen Crescendo speakers. Tried three other brands, but the Coppers won hands down. But I must to admit also that t...
Accustic Arts Power 1 - operates in Class A?
It's a class A/B amp. I had one a few years ago.
