Accuphase Bookshelf Speaker Pairing recommend
@deep_333 I could but I don't know what I am talking about. But to try: there are differences in the sound, design, looks etc. based on location. I wouldn't say it's like wine but I believe engineering has deep connection to the culture.

this is from my list between 2 and 4K. (I went to 4K because you may find them under 2K used.) Revival and Mofi would be on the top of my list: Ohm Walsh Microwalsh Short 2000 ProAc tablette-10 2000 ...

~100 Watts is enough to drive a lot of speakers. But the room is small so you won't need a beast. The list is long and the budget and used vs. new and cultural preferences (British/American/Scandinavian/etc) would narrow it down significantly

a $1500 turntable won't compete with 10K turntables. It will compete with other ~$1500 turntables.
Ideas for Pre/Power $9000?
for the list battle.... there is a best value curve at each price range, and let's say 4K for integrated and 5K for speakers: there are fantastic options. for integrated I know and trust; Musical Fidelity, Parasound, Rotel, Primare, even Hegel f...

9K is a lot of money for an amp. Especially used. You can buy a great amp (or pre and power) and a pair of speakers for that. I could go down a long list of recommendations for each but the easiest will be to use the 30-60 days return policies of...

@lewm If you are a Rega fan, probably not good. I like objective reviews.

btw the rumour that Rega is overhyped and overpriced is as old as Rega.
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH HATE FOR THE HIGH END GEAR ON AUDIO GEAR?
@barts right, I wasn't there, I could be totally wrong.
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH HATE FOR THE HIGH END GEAR ON AUDIO GEAR?
@barts I don't see your point. There could be many reasons other than envy for his comment. It could be the opposite, he was very happy with his Camry and didn't need a Ferrari to feel good about himself. You asked him. Or maybe he just tried to s...

I have a Rega P3. With the right phono stage, it's been a lot of fun for me - I love it.
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH HATE FOR THE HIGH END GEAR ON AUDIO GEAR?
I couldn't care less about who has what, whether it's more than all I spent on cars in 4 decades. What bugs me is the attitude. Which has been discussed 100s of times, nothing new to see here...
