| Tube Integragrated w/ Phono Look at the Primaluna PL1 and PL2. The PL2 can take a variety of power tubes (EL34/KT88) and both can take the add on MM phono stage board. I have this setup and it sounded very good. It's not a substitute for a good stand alone phono stage. | |

| Should I switch from SS to tube integrated? I can't comment on whether or not the Primaluna will drive the Quads but i have been running a PL2 with New Sensor Mullards EL34's about 40 plus hours a weeks since Feb 08 and they still sound great. Very low maintenance and the sound is heavenly. | |

| Tubes For bottlehead Seduction/Pre I picked up a pair of nice quiet Mullards 2492's from the 60's for $110/pr from the tubemonger. I wanted a warm rich sound since i listen to blues about 90% of the time. Had some Telefunkens that sounded much more crisp and clean than the mullards. |
