Accuphase E-470 or Luxman 590ax II ? Hi JafantAs linnlingo mentioned, AVT carries Luxman. I have purchased several pieces from them. I purchased my Accuphase gear from Legends (Cape Cod and Florida).
Accuphase E-470 or Luxman 590ax II ? It’s going to be tough to find a dealer that sells both.
Accuphase E-470 or Luxman 590ax II ? It doesn't get THAT hot. Unless your audio room is a broom closet, you will not notice the heat.
Dealers hijacking the discussions This tread reminds we of when my kids used to bicker back and forth. I sure do miss those days! :)
Accuphase E-470 or Luxman 590ax II ? Builder3, I sold the Luxman D-06u and upgraded to an Esoteric K-01X.
Dealers hijacking the discussions IMO, there is a huge difference between providing advice versus an infomercial for a brand that one "coincidentally happens to carry". I also get annoyed by certain dealers who say a specific piece of gear sounds better than what I currently have ...
Conrad Johnson LP125sa and ET5 jafant - it's a great amp. Of course, I am constantly looking for something better!
Conrad Johnson LP125sa and ET5 jafant and oddifyl - I loved my Luxman and foolishly I sold it and got several other amps after it (Accuphase E-470, Gato AMP 150 and now and Accuphase E-600). It is an exceptionally well crafted integrated amp and it's the amp I regret selling t...
Accuphase E-470 or Luxman 590ax II ? To clarify, I have owned the Luxman L-590 AX followed by the Accuphase E-470 and now an Accuphase E-600. It’s a long story as to how and why I made that journey - suffice it to say it had a lot to do with speaker selections. Unless you have diffic...
Accuphase E-470 or Luxman 590ax II ? I have owned both amps. Luxman hands down, no contest. A more equal comparison would be the Accuphase E-600 and the Luxman 590AX II.
Restocking Fees, 30-Day Free Trials Wolf-garcia - you should check out Audio Video Therapy in Nashua, NH. The exact opposite of Goodwins.
Restocking Fees, 30-Day Free Trials It's all about relationships. I have two B&M dealers and one on-line dealer. The on-line dealer offers no in home trials or returns. I also get 15% to 20% of retail from him. Both B&M dealers will let me do in home trials with anything...
Just retired and want to get back to vinyl listening I've never had a dealer ask for money for an in-home audition. A credit card on file to cover potential damage - sometimes. But thats it. Doubtful if the two dealers cooperating would ever work IMO.
Just retired and want to get back to vinyl listening Hi Steve - First of all, I have a MAJOR problem that causes me to analyze the performance of my gear. Over the last year, I have switched amps 5 times and speakers 3 times (not to mention DACs, SACD players, speaker cables and interconnects. Sin...
Just retired and want to get back to vinyl listening I am a big Luxman fan having owned many pieces since the 70's (yes, I am an old fart). I'm currently running an Accuphase E-600 and I may be selling it to go back to the Luxman MQ-300 tube amp. The L-590AX or AXII are hands down, the best value i... |
