Tekton Double Impacts
Goodness you are a lucky man Kenny! If I had a set of the DI speakers I would go to town! I would place the crossover outside the speaker for sure in its own special box with vibration control etc...I would use the best parts in the crossover and ...
Tekton Double Impacts
I bet they sound very good. My wife would cry, not laugh, at first sight. No way they could could ever be in our living room. I would love to hear them however.

Well I assume the only cable that was burned in was the Vodka? That will certainly impact the outcome. Please let us know about the run in time on the other cables.thanks
Clear Day Audio Double Shotgun speaker cables
Agreed DV.  I must say the owner of Clear Day is a great guy for sure. One of the best I have ever dealt with for sure. I found his cables a tad too thin and a touch bright. It is system dependent to be sure. I also think we each have our own pref...
Speaker cables if your amp isn't between your speakers
Good for you. Be sure to twist the positive and negative runs as you make up your cables. The twist should be about every 1.75- 2 inches or so. Use heat shrink on the ends to keep the cable twisted. Carefully strip the ends without nicking any of ...
Speaker cables if your amp isn't between your speakers
A few feet of difference will not make a sound difference. In my rig I have 8 feet on one side and 15 feet on the other. No issue at all with sound quality. Just purchase some bulk Duelund stranded 16 gauge cable in cotton from Parts Connextion. D...
Amps from the 1980's -- What gear holds up sonically? Reliably?
Aragon, B&K, and NAD 3020.   Owned all 3.  B&K ST140 was my first.

What's your OTL tube amp experience and suggestion?
No issues with past Atmasphere amps. Very safe and trouble free.

No problem Kenny. You don’t agree with me and that is fine. We need to be able to disagree and still have a voice and get along. All is good.I am however most interested in this speaker so I must correct you. I do in fact belong on this thread. I ...

Well what is nuts to one may not be to another as it all depends on your circumstances. $300 is a lot of money to some. Just as the hassle and weight of dealing with large speakers is a real problem to someone older or with back problems etc.., Al...
Clarity Cap CMR Impressions
My Lyngdorf 2170 has a built in dac and SOTA room correction. The room correction is easily the best upgrade I have even experienced in audio. Phenomenal! Cannot be overstated. Yes another thread for this truth.
